The Parthenon Marbles: A new take on an age-old dispute

After many years of a persisting stalemate over the Parthenon Marbles, change may be in the air. Join us at Fladgate LLP in London on 7th December for a discussion of IAL Director Alexander Herman’s new book, The Parthenon Marbles Dispute: Heritage, Law, PoliticsThe book features an investigation of the causes of the longstanding conflict and proposes new ways ahead. In addition to the author, speakers will include Mark Stephens CBE, Sir Alan Moses and Dr Debbie De Girolamo. The book was released on 21 September as the first title in the Art Law Library series published by Hart Publishing (part of Bloomsbury) in partnership with the Institute of Art and Law.
