Art market transactions talk by Dr Miriam Goldby (Queen Mary University of London) at the Art Transactions Afternoon Seminar.

On Wednesday, 24 January we were pleased to host the Art Transactions Afternoon Seminar with gracious support from Hunters Solicitors at the Swedenborg Society in London. The afternoon focused on transactions involving artworks and other cultural objects.

Talks included Top 10 tips for buying and selling art by Gregor Kleinknecht (Hunters), Art market transactions by Dr Miriam Goldby (Queen Mary University of London) and Emily Gould (Institute of Art and Law), Useful terms in art contracts by Petra Warrington (Hunters), Contract disputes in the art world and how to resolve them by Hetty Gleave (Hunters) and Henry Legge QC (5 Stone Buildings), and Art market transactions by Aidan Meller (Aidan Meller Galleries). At the conclusion of the session, we hosted a drinks reception with attendees and speakers.
