We were delighted to take part in the graduation ceremony yesterday for the first cohort of students of the Art, Business and Law LLM offered by the IAL in conjunction with Queen Mary University of London. In the splendid surroundings of QMUL’s People’s Palace, our students joined over 200 others to receive their LLM degrees in a celebratory ceremony led by QMUL’s Vice Principal, Humanities and Social Sciences.

It was a day for congratulations and celebration as we recognised the hard work and effort the students had put in throughout the course. A reception followed the ceremony, in the equally magnificent Octagon building at QMUL’s Mile End campus, providing an opportunity to share exciting news of where their new Art, Business and Law Masters qualifications had already led the students. These new avenues included employment in the arts sector both in the commercial world (auction houses and art dealerships) and the in the public sphere as well as legal training contracts and academic roles. We wish the students all the very best in their new roles and hope that their successes will inspire this year’s students and those to come.
