International Art Transactions: 13 May 2015 seminar

On Wednesday 13 May 2015 from 2-5.30 pm there will be an Institute of Art & Law seminar in association with Maurice Turnor Gardner LLP held at the firm’s London offices in Milton Street EC2Y 9BH. The seminar will explore the legal issues surrounding international art transactions, covering questions of title, customs duties and freeports, working with foreign legal rules, the resolution of international disputes and export licensing.
Speakers will include Richard Turnor (Maurice Turnor Gardner), Norman Palmer QC (3 Stone Buildings), Wendy Philips (Sotheby’s), Jenny McKeown and Dan Saunders (Maurice Turnor Gardner), Kristian Hitchinson and Tim Sutton (Constantine Fine Art), Ed Powles (Maurice Turnor Gardner) and Harry Martin (3 Stone Buildings).
The event costs £120 (£100 plus VAT) – or £60 (£50 plus VAT) if you are an IAL or UKRG member. It is accredited for CPD and Law Society points.
