The Parthenon Marbles Dispute: Book launch and Art Law Library launch

We are very excited to welcome you to the book launch of The Parthenon Marbles Dispute: Heritage, Law, Politics by Alexander Herman on 28th September. The event, kindly hosted by the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) in London, will also serve as the launch for the new Art Law Library series that IAL is running in partnership with Hart Publishing. The event will involve a discussion of the new book, as well as details about the new Art Law Library and forthcoming titles.

Date and time: 28th September, 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm, followed by a reception

Location: Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London, 67-69 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London WC2A 3JB (near Holborn tube station)

The event is free to attend. Please sign up now as spaces are limited. Note that it will not be streamed or recorded. The book will be made available for purchase at the event at a special 20% discount price of £15.99 (RRP is £19.99).

The event will be taking place during the induction week for the new cohort of Art, Business and Law LLM students. This Masters programme, begun in 2017, is now entering its seventh year and serves as a unique centre for art law teaching and research.
