On 29th May 2014 (this Thursday), there will be an Institute of Art & Law event hosted by Clyde & Co at their offices in central London on the theme of art and insurance. The event will run from 11.00 to 5.00.

Topics will include: insurance policies, the duties to insure art, indemnity, the UK’s Government Indemnity Scheme, collaterized art protection, working with law enforcement and defective title.

There is an impressive list of speakers, including Norman Palmer QC, Tony Baumgartner (Clydes), Mike Roderick (Clydes), Andy Grant (Clydes), Jane Knowles (UKRG), Robert Hepburne-Scott (Blackwall Green), Richard Nicholson (Willis Fine Art) and Simon Craig (ACME), which will make for both a practical and thought-provoking event.
