Our Diploma in Art Profession Law and Ethics (DipAPLE) is running once again beginning in January 2019. This intensive, interactive course is designed to introduce both art professionals and lawyers to the specific legal risks and safeguards that underpin all art transactions. It covers buying and selling, lending and borrowing, donating and accepting, disposing and giving away. It will also teach how to avoid legal trouble and how to get the legal advantage.
This course runs one Saturday a month with the first sessions as follows:
12th January, 9th February, 9th March, 6th April, and 4th May.
Note: It is still possible to sign up after the first session on 12th January, provided enrolment is completed by the second session. A full recording of the first session’s lectures and discussion will be provided for late enrolees.
All classes will be held at Notre Dame University, 1 Suffolk St, SW1Y 4HG, in central London.
